The Afghan-American community sincerely hopes that the President of the United States will utilize sound judgment in determining the course of action to pursue following the tragic terrorist attack. As productive members of the American society, we fully support the President, our military and intelligence communities in finding the perpetrators and retaliating against them with great force. The American resolve must leave no doubt in the minds of those guilty of these coordinated crimes that their actions will be punished. Moreover, the American resolve must be sufficiently focused to wipe out terrorism and not to cause the loss of innocent civilians. We Afghan-Americans unite with all Americans and the rest of the Free World in the war against the terrorists who are guilty of spilling the blood of so many innocent victims.
